Rhett was purchased in August of 2012, from our good friends at Fergusons Labs, due to some unfortunate circumstances the Fergusons were closing down their kennel and were looking for a new home for Rhett and Shadow. Since they had mated this combination before, they were wanting to see them go together, so we decided we would help them out and give these two a new forever home! So off to Athabasca we went!

When researching his pedigree, his parents come from the USA, and we realized that he had similar bloodlines to Roxy...so we couldn't say "no". He goes back to the famous Ebonstar Lean Mack, Riparian Roughrider, and Candlewood lines, all known for working and have many titles behind them, which are some of the lines that Roxy has in her, and to say the least she has been a great assett to our program.

Rhett is a super loving guy, full of lots of energy, and loves to play, but most of all he can't get enough of humans! He loves to just lay around at your feet and follow your every move.

	Maxx is arguably the best sire the most prepotent sire of this era. Records show, in 2006, 8 dogs sired by him with 9 National wins. Five of these national wins occurred in the Canadian National Open and Canadian National Amateur. Names of titled offspring exceed 110 are too many too list here, but one bears mentioning. Chena River Chavez appears to have inherited the ability to pass on good genes to his offspring.

	Cajun Of Black Forest . Cajun has also produced multiple GMPR’s, AKC MH’s, HRCh’s and qualified all-age field trial dogs. Cajun won 4 titles at just 2 years old—a Colorado State Pheasant Championship and numerous other trial wins. He was one of the youngest male dogs to achieve both APLA Master Pointing retriever title (13 months) and Grand Master Pointing Retriever title (20 months). Cajun has consistently placed in the top three in 21 competitions—12 of which were first place wins, competing against the traditional pointing breeds. Cajun won the 2000 Colorado State Pheasant Championship in the open pointer division. He has been the top qualifier for the National Hunting Dog Championship, winning both qualifying runs that he participated in.
