Gunner, the best Christmas present anyone could ever get! Born just 5 days before Christmas, he managed to steal our hearts from the very first day. With all the wonderful comments we recieved from past litters on how wonderful Chester and Roxy pups were, as the weeks went by, it was confirmed that he had all the traits and qualities we were looking for in a stud dog, so we decided to keep Him for our next stud dog.

At 8 months old...He was fully grown to all most 27 inches tall, but a bit on the gangly side. He was so full of life and energy it was hard to put weight on him. He loves to lope around the yard, chase a bird or the odd cat that strolls by, we rarely see him walk. However, He is one very toned to the bone muscled-up young man and looks fabulous.

Gunner is very happy-go-lucky, affectionate, faithful , loving and loyal , he is usually never very far away from me, he goes where I go, including the bathroom! He has the sweetest temperment and greatest disposition that only wants to please you, even as a youngster, you would only have to call his name once and he was right by side, waiting for his next command, He didn't even have the "terrible two's" syndrome, and for that I thank his mother!

Nothing Gunner loves better is a good game of "ball or frisbee" ( actually anything that can be thrown will do) the yard is great, but the slough is even better, in true lab tradition, it's just alot more fun in the water! He has a very soft mouth, and loves to carry the cats back to the barn where they belong, he doesn't like them up on the deck. He even brought me a tiny baby sparrow that had fallen from it's nest, unharmed we delivered it back to the nest, and a few moments later, he brought me another. I guess the babies were learning how to fly! Lucky for them Gunner keeps the cats at the barn!

It is going to be a sad day when we retire Chester and Roxy, they have been such gracious ambassadors to the Labrador Breed, and have instilled their wonderful qualities in their babies.

Gunner has completed all his tests for being a stud dog and has been rated "excellent" on hips and elbows and free from CNM and EIC. It just doesn't get any better than that.

And now we turn the torch over to you "Gunner".

Gunner's first litter of pups will be arriving early February, 2013

We will be offering "Stud Services " to approved females only. They must be registered females, be atleast 2 years old, must have all required vacinations, have an official OFA xray on hips and elbows with a rating no less than "Good", a current CERF, and been tested for EIC and CNM or parentage proof. Well, as expected, Gunner 's first babies are here, They arrived Feb 6,2013, and are absolutley to die for. Every pup has dark red coloring, exceptional conformation, looks, and temperment. We couldn't be more pleased! We knew He would be Great!
